Submission Checklist

Before submission, please ensure the manuscript is ready for editorial screening and peer review.

• The manuscript is original and aligned with CAJ aims and scope.
• The article includes a structured abstract, keywords and complete references.
• A similarity check has been completed before editorial screening.
• ORCID iD is recommended for all authors and co-authors.
• The CAJ article template is used for the final submission file.

OJS-Aligned Submission Workflow

CAJ follows an OJS-style submission pathway so authors can prepare complete files and metadata before editorial screening.

1. 1. Start SubmissionAuthor confirms checklist, article type, language and publication policy acknowledgement.
2. 2. Upload ManuscriptUpload the main manuscript file in PDF, DOC or DOCX format using the CAJ template.
3. 3. Enter MetadataComplete title, abstract, keywords, author/co-author names, emails, affiliations and ORCID where available.
4. 4. Supplementary FilesWhere relevant, upload ethics approval, media permissions, dataset notes or revision files through discussion tickets.
5. 5. ConfirmationSubmit the manuscript to editorial screening and track reviewer discussion, decisions, invoices and publication documents in the dashboard.

Editorial Decision Status

Every manuscript will display a clear decision status in the author dashboard.

• Screening: checked for scope, format and metadata completeness.
• Under Review: assigned reviewer has 14 days to provide feedback.
• Revision Requested: author responds through dashboard discussion tickets.
• Accepted: accepted letter, payment, copyright transfer and final PDF production proceed.
• Declined: article is not accepted for publication and the author receives the decision note.

Submit Manuscript

Authors must sign in or create an author account before submitting a manuscript. The dashboard will store submission status, reviewer feedback, payment records and publication documents.
